From humble beginnings on a southern Saskatchewan farm, President Mike Belisle has extensive experience in the oilfield drilling industry. During his 11 years on the drilling rig, Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit led him into starting an oilfield rentals and services company. This progressed to a horizontal directional drilling business where Mike found himself all over North America drilling everything from fiber-optic cables to large diameter oil and gas pipelines. A career highlight would be installing a fiber optik line through the Mackenzie Valley in the Northwest Territories. Now with 14 years of experience in underground utility installations, Mike is surrounded by a dedicated and skilled team that is the foundation of a successful business.
During the early days of Mike’s directional drilling adventures, he hired a young Ontario man fresh out of high school. Ten years later, Zach Webster is now Vice President of Operations. His ability and ingenuity to get the job done has made him a team leader and a valued partner in
business.
Most recently, Alberta businessman Rick Wierzba has joined the team. Rick brings with him a wealth of experience in both the oil industry and agriculture sector. This new partnership has led KC Horizontal to expand its reach into the growing need of hydrovac services, acquiring the
newest technology and equipment in the hydrovac business
